DIN SPEC 25714 - Standard for mineral high-performance fibers of natural origin
The Steinbeis Transfer Center Cetex processing machines for technical textiles together with DIN has brought together international players from the basalt fiber community and developed a standard for basalt fibers.
The result is the DIN SPEC 25714, which will be available from September 1st, 2017 in Beuth Verlag. This standard defines rules for testing, marking, packaging and storage, thus ensuring transparency and the reproducibility of results from material testing for users.
