Innovative 3D printing materials

At our institute, we have developed three innovative 3D printing materials that offer exceptional possibilities for a wide range of applications. Each of these materials has been created with a particular focus on sustainability, strength and versatility.
PLA/PBS combines the advantages of polylactic acid (PLA) and polybutylene succinate (PBS), creating a material that is both biodegradable and mechanically robust. It is ideal for environmentally friendly applications where high performance is also required.
PC/ABS combines the best properties of polycarbonate (PC) and acrylonitrile butadiene styrene (ABS). The result is a material that is not only particularly durable and resistant to external influences, but also has excellent processability. This combination makes it ideal for demanding technical applications.
PLA + wood fibre is a unique material that, with the addition of wood fibres, has remarkable aesthetics and a special feel. This material is not only light and environmentally friendly, but also offers a natural and appealing look that sets it apart from conventional plastics.
