UD Tape Production
With the Cetex UD fiber film line we produce unidirectional fiber-reinforced fabric webs for you in an energy-efficient way. The rovings are arranged next to each other and spread out by a special spreading device without defects and then impregnated in the laminating plant by means of thermoplastic films. The resulting UD tape is then wound onto a cardboard core.

Machine parameters+
- Working width: 650 mm (= max. fabric width)
- Speed: 15 m/min
- Gap height: variably from 0 to 50 mm - at 4 set points along the machine
- Heating zone: electrical contact heating up to 250°C, adjustable in 2 zones each top and bottom
- Cooling zone: water cooling up to 50°C
- Pressure: 60 N/cm² using a heated pair of calender rolls
- Roller heating: up to 180°C (thermal oil)
- Winding: to 6" or 3" (torque or force controlled)
- Fabric feed: 3" one each on the top and bottom
- Edge trim: manually adjustable
- Storage table: 1000 mm in length
